| Yeah, because I looked like that and not like a fucking weirdo |
Ever been snow tubing? I have. Several times, actually. Most of those times were when I was younger though. My mother would take me and my brother and we would meet up with our close family friends- my mom's best friend would bring her two children (a boy my age and a girl three years younger). We'd be all decked out in our intense snow gear and still freeze! We'd scream and shriek and just be the super cool kids we were. Is it just me, or am I a little too old to go snow tubing with my family? My mom is like trying to turn my February break into super-fucking-fun family time!!!! Ahahaha... no. I want to be lazy and sit around and gain 10 pounds eating processes crap, then realize I'm getting fat so I do crunches to whatever song I'm obsessed with at the moment. I want to go blow all my money and useless shit at the mall with my friends. I want to see the new movies that look good. I do NOT want to spend my free time going from one "family friendly" event to the next! So anyways, this tubing session was a little different than how it used to be. You see, my family friends are in Florida at this current moment, so no tubing for them. Instead, we had a family +1 day! It was my parents, my brother, me, and my best friend. Before we even left I was not exactly jumping with joy. You know considering it was like 40-something degrees outside, I didn't exactly need 10 frigging layers- my mom just misses dressing me up as a small child! I'm a 32A with no ass, and the few curves I have barely show when I wear my tightest skinny jeans, tank top, and push-up bra, so those bulky snow clothes did nothing for me. Seriously, I just looked kinda fat and lopsided. So of course the 40 minute drive was complete hell- us three kids were in the backseat all smushed together with no freaking personal space. Guess who was in the middle? Then we got there, and it was alright. Nothing special, just some sliding down hills next to all the 5 year olds. I swear, my parents don't remember being teenagers, it was just so fricking long ago. I think the highlight of my day was stopping at Dunkin Donuts on the way home and getting iced coffee... that stuff is like my fucking life.
